i am in a town in italy where there is the largest international festival of street performers
i took the train here. it cost me ten euros and fifty-five euro cents
i slept on the ground in a park where there were people sleeping in tents. there were maybe six other people i could see sleeping on the ground in the general area i was in.
what this post is really about:
i have worked on a lot of projects with my friend olivier bherer-vidal. most of what i did is write english versions of his graphic stories which are in french.
there is a website here which is about one of the graphic stories that is going to be released tomorrow, friday august 28th, at an event in quebec. if you understand french, you will be able to read the website. if not, you will be able to recognize my name on the website and maybe also some words which are similar to english words.
one of the other projects is an english/finnish version of a french graphic story about when olivier spent 49 days in finland. there is going to be a comics festival in finland this autumn at which will be this english version that i made.
if anyone who speaks english and is not going to be in quebec or finland is interested in buying a copy of these graphic stories, you can email me and then i will talk to olivier and see about how to do that. it will be fun.

zen essay, moviestar
i wrote A Zen Essay in Which Maybe Nothing Is Accomplished for the summer issue of the new yinzer which was guest edited by my friend claire donato
another interesting scrap of news is that i am a famous actor now. jk lol. rofl.
a movie i was kind of accidentally in on purpose was recently 'released' or 're-released' i'm not sure. i even have an actor profile at imdb.com. click here to see it.
what happened is that there is this guy i used to know living in philadelphia whose name was dan. dan was a film student at temple university. now he lives in a big apartment on the upper west side in new york and makes a lot of money making movies from what i understand. anyway when dan was a lowly film student he asked me to drive him to atlantic city so that he could take some video footage of the ocean. so i drove him there and he shot his film and then there was some film left over so he shot random footage of me (and also greg lytle) and it ended up being in his movie. that's how i am a star. am i going to get paid for this? does anyone know an agent who wants to handle my acting career? i am also in a few much more underground films mostly made by film students at temple university. in one such film i am featured wearing a pig mask and blinking my eyelids a lot in slow motion. if you are an agent who represents up and coming actors especially in the indie movie sector, please contact me.

i am out above myself
reaching complete self detachment
feels like floating out above myself
i am typing this poem
with my fingers out above themselves
the present moment is 6:39:41 pm
i used to know an old black man
who played a handsaw like a violin
with the bow along the smooth edge
when bent, the frequency moved
out above itself into empty white space
that's where i am now
