i am going to type out my favorite poem

it is by colin bassett, author of new chapbook boring meadows


if we take showers and then eat sushi and drink wine that we like, afterward i will walk for a

long time next to you until we are home.

and i won't say anything the whole way but will think of lots of different ways of saying 'it is a

nice night' since the breeze is a little bit warm.

and i will like that we are walking at the right speed and are not confused about what we are

doing at intersections.
