the first full-length matthew savoca book of poetry is set to be published by scrambler books in september 2010.

it is called long love poem with descriptive title and is composed entirely of one long poem (+ drawings)

parts of this book, which was written in the summer of 2008 and was the first manuscript of poetry i ever compiled, have appeared previously in:

1) ml press chapbook altruism
2) bear creek feed ebook i am being honest

much more to come about this...



in other news, i have some poems forthcoming on the internet in this month's elimae, and the second issue of double shiny

i also have poems forthcoming in the third print issue of rooms outlast us which will be coming early summer. i would have been in the second issue if not for a newly instated rule called The Savoca Rule which stipulates that any one contributor may not be published in consecutive issues of the journal (since i was in issue one, this precludes me).

something i didn't mention was that i have a poem in the recent issue of IsReads that is plastered around in cities across america... the poem is about success and zen, which i'm pretty sure do not go together at all. here are two photos:
