field mice

today is june 21st, the longest day of the year. being tired of sunlight is something i can understand since i just returned from iceland where the sun never goes away this time of year. so when you get tired of the sunlight today, or when it gets tired of you (hah!) go to robot melon and read my new ebook. stephen daniel lewis worked really hard on this ebook all spring, and i think it looks really good. stephen is underrated and understated. he has consistently done a really good job with robot melon over the last few years and has quietly written some of my favorite poems, like this one: olive oil and other liquids, and this one: i am constantly worried. i'm really glad stephen daniel lewis exists

read field mice, the ebook by matthew savoca

daniel bailey said something really nice on his blog about field mice:
"this ebook is good. matthew's poetry in this ebook crosses a scientific analysis of the human experience with the mangled experience itself. it's lovely. it's direct. and i wish it were longer."
