the number of people i know, in real life, is < 10 including my brothers and parents whom i haven't seen in 1+ years

of these people, there are 1½ that i talk to in my native language. there are ~4 that i half talk to in a language i only speak well enough to have conversations about food, weather, or obama. because conversations about obama go like this:

obama?
obama!
but, obama?
well, definitely obama., and probably obama! eventually, just give it some time

the ½ person is a puppy that i talked to for ~1 hour at an outdoor adoption center in the park three weeks ago
